Many congratulations to Jai Dhillon on passing the CII R05 Financial Protection exam — another key milestone in his journey to becoming a qualified financial planner.

We’re delighted to share more good news from the Kellands Bristol team — Jai Dhillon has passed the R05 Financial Protection exam, another core unit within the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. This latest achievement marks yet another important milestone in Jai’s journey towards becoming a fully qualified financial planner.

The R05 exam focuses on the essential area of financial protection, covering topics such as life assurance, income protection, critical illness cover, business protection and the role of State benefits. It tests candidates on their ability to assess client needs, understand product features, and recommend suitable protection strategies — a vital skillset for delivering robust, holistic financial advice. It’s a challenging assessment that requires a strong grasp of regulation, taxation, underwriting and consumer needs, and Jai has once again demonstrated his commitment and capability.

Since joining Kellands Bristol in July 2024, Jai has continued to build an impressive track record of exam success, progressing steadily through the qualification framework with determination and professionalism. Passing R05 takes him another step closer to achieving his long‑term goal of becoming a fully qualified financial planner.

Congratulations, Jai — another fantastic achievement and very well deserved.
