Hats On for Children in Need

Every year in November, Kellands Bristol gets into the spirit of things and looks to raise monies for Children in Need.

Although constraints had been imposed upon us by the pandemic, we had planned this year to hold a socially distanced fundraising country ramble at Ashton Court on Friday 13th, the day of the televised event itself. The Pudsey walkers would have included all at Kellands Bristol and personal invitations were extended to friends and family - and of course doggies too.

   

Unfortunately, lockdown 2.0 intervened to scupper our best laid plans. However, not to be thwarted, we have instead resorted to our own individual fundraising activity, donning our Pudsey country hats of course to help this worthy cause.

The Children in Need appeal this year is called ‘Together, we can’. At a time when many children are facing tougher times than usual due to Covid-19, the aim is to at least match the £47.8m raised last year to help disadvantaged children and young people in communities across the UK.

It’s a great cause, so please give generously – and we do hope you have some fun and laughs in the process!
