Aaron Pitt Chartered Financial Planner Kellands Bristol

Aaron is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, the highest qualifications in the Financial Services industry. He has a strong academic background, having graduated top of his class with a first-class honours degree in Accounting and Management from the University of Kent.

Aaron started his career at a platform provider, gaining valuable insights into the technical aspects of the technology that underpins Financial Services. At the same time, he started his industry qualifications and journey to become a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

After 18 months, Aaron advanced his career by becoming a Trainee Paraplanner, working simultaneously for two different financial planning firms. This role exposed him to a wide range of planning responsibilities for a diverse clientele, from high-net-worth individuals in the early stages of planning to clients needing long-term care and inheritance tax mitigation strategies.

Aaron Joined Kellands in 2019 as a Senior Paraplanner, a role which quickly progressed to a Chartered Financial Planner. Aaron continued his studies and achieved his goal of becoming a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society in 2021, an accomplishment achieved by relatively few at his age.

With his refined technical knowledge, varied education and experience, Aaron specialises in the more complex and advanced aspects of financial planning. He enjoys working with high-net-worth individuals and families, helping them navigate the opportunities and challenges they face in a dynamic and uncertain environment. Aaron uses the latest financial planning technology to create detailed long-term financial plans focusing on his client’s goals and priorities.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys traveling and exploring new places, cultures, and cuisines. His most recent adventure was a city-hopping tour across Japan. Closer to home, he often cooks delicious meals for friends and samples different craft beers across Bristol. To keep fit, Aaron enjoys weightlifting and hiking. He often takes his dog, Frida, on nearby trails but leaves her at home for the more serious challenges. Recently, he completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge – a 40-kilometer trek encompassing three of Yorkshire’s tallest peaks, all in one day.
