David Carstairs

David has worked in the financial industry for the past four years. Before joining Kellands in July 2025, he developed his financial knowledge at Hargreaves Lansdown, where he served as a Senior Operations Associate and focused on implementing process improvements to enhance the client experience. He brings this client-focused approach to every task at Kellands.

David joined Kellands to pursue a career in financial planning and is currently undertaking his Level 4 Diploma, with the goal of progressing to Financial Adviser and building a long-term career within the firm.

He holds a Master’s degree in Ancient History and enjoys watching historical documentaries on all things old. When he isn’t diving into the past, he can often be found at his local rugby club, where he plays for the III XV. He is also an avid pop music fan—evidenced by seeing Taylor Swift’s concert twice in one month.
