Amy achieves exam success

Some good news for Amy Brinkman over the weekend, as she heard that she had passed another exam – the J10 Discretionary Investment Management Exam.

Amy joined Kellands back in March this year, and brought a wealth of experience with her, having worked as an adviser and paraplanner for an SJP practice in Cheltenham. She is already diploma qualified, holding the level 4 diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII).

The Discretionary Investment Management (J10) module aims to develop knowledge and understanding of the role of the Discretionary Investment Manager, and the ability to analyse and apply financial information and portfolio management skills. Obviously, this enhances Amy’s knowledge and skills further and she is not stopping there.

Amy is looking to get a better understanding of all areas of financial planning, with the ultimate goal of becoming Chartered. At the moment, she is eyeing up taking the Retirement Income Options exam next, as it’s quite different from the exam she has just taken.

Many congratulations Amy – we wish you every success on your quest!
