Looking beyond the Coronavirus crisis – some thoughts on planning for your future

Here is our Spring 2020 Independent News magazine. In it, we take a look at some key financial planning matters for you to consider.

Obviously, this is a time of increased uncertainty and market volatility. The impact of the coronavirus on both the economy and on our daily lives is huge, but rest assured that our team is here to help and advise you, should you need it.

Whilst current events are having a major impact on investment performance, it is important to remember that periods of volatility do not last forever and markets do recover. So, seek to stay positive and look to the longer term.

With that in mind, our latest magazine features a couple of articles looking at retirement planning. One addresses the issue that many are not saving enough for retirement, whilst the other puts forward another way for you to give your pension a boost.

We also discuss the importance of inheritance tax planning, to ensure that you can minimise the amount of tax your loved ones have to pay on your estate.

Whilst it seems a while ago now, we also provide a summary of the salient points from Budget 2020.

And of course, we discuss the importance of diversification in your investment portfolio, particularly in these turbulent times.

There’s a whole host of other articles too, which we hope you find both interesting and useful.

If you would like some financial advice on any of the matters raised, or on any issues raised by the coronavirus situation. please do not hesitate to contact your Kellands Bristol financial adviser.
